The Society and Museum advance the education of the public in the history of Newport Pagnell and District.

They collect material and carry out research into the history of Newport Pagnell, hold meetings on a variety of historical subjects and organise visits to places of historic interest and local walks.

The Chandos Hall is both the headquarters and the site of the Newport Pagnell Museum.
