Consultation
Milton Keynes City Council, in conjunction with the governing bodies of St Andrew’s CE Infant School and Great Linford Primary School, is proposing a merger of both schools to create one school located on the Great Linford Primary School site. The site at St Andrew’s CE Infant School will close and all displaced pupils will be accommodated at the Great Linford Primary School site.
Purpose
This four week representation period seeks to gather opinions on the proposal. The information included in this consultation provides background information about the proposal. Following this, officers will consider any comments received and the council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People will take a delegated decision on 25 November 2025 on whether to proceed with the merger.

Consultation Result
A Delegated Decision was taken on 25 November 2025 by the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People to proceed with the merger. This means that both schools will merge and create one school on the Great Linford Primary School site with effect from 1 January 2026 with St. Andrew’s CE Infant School closing from 31 December 2025.
