This eight week consultation seeks to gather opinions on the proposal and is the first stage in a five stage process.  The information included in this consultation provides background information about the proposal and feedback received will be considered to determine next steps.

Update 4 August 2025

A Delegated Decision was taken on 22 July 2025 by the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People that the next stages of the process to merge St Andrew’s CE Infant School and Great Linford Primary School be progressed as follows:

  1. the publication of a statutory notice to merge St Andrew’s CE Infant School and Great Linford Primary School; and
  2. a four week consultation period for comments and representations.

    Milton Keynes City Council, in conjunction with the governing bodies of St Andrew’s CE Infant School and Great Linford Primary School, is considering a merger of both schools to create one school located on the Great Linford Primary School site.
