Our Local Transport Plan 5 (LTP5) sets out the Council’s transport policies and schemes for the next 10 to 15 years. As key stakeholders, we welcome your views on our direction of travel.

A short consultation summary is available on the engagement website and forms the basis of the stakeholder questions. The full draft LTP5 is also available for anyone wanting more detail, though it may be temporarily unavailable while updates are uploaded. The summary will remain unchanged throughout the consultation.

LTP5 is a high‑level ‘parent’ document, supported by more detailed plans such as the Bus Service Improvement Plan, the Local Cycling and Walking Implementation Plan, and the Highway Asset Management Plan. These and other subject‑specific documents are signposted within the main LTP.

A report of consultation will be produced and a revised LTP5 document responding to the feedback received will be prepared for Council approval in the spring/summer.
