Milton Keynes Council intends to make the following named traffic regulation Order under Sections 84(1), (2) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (QUEEN ELEANOR STREET AND WATLING STREET (V4), MILTON KEYNES) (40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to consolidate the existing 40mph speed restriction along Queen Eleanor Street and Watling Street (V4) and extend the 40mph speed restriction along Watling Street (V4) to a point 340 metres south-east of its junction with Burchard Crescent, Shenley Church End.

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-459.
