Milton Keynes City Council intends to make the following named traffic regulation Order under Sections 84(1), (2), (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, HAVERSHAM) (40 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2026 

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be: 

• To extend the existing 40mph speed restrictions on High Street, Haversham to Haversham Road;
• To introduce a 40mph speed restriction on Little Linford Lane, Haversham;
• To revoke the existing 2013 40mph speed restriction traffic regulation Order on High Street, Haversham.

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-475. 

The closing date for this consultation is 11 June 2026.
