Milton Keynes City Council intends to make the following named traffic regulation Order under sections 84(1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHAFFRON WAY (H7), MILTON KEYNES) (40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025 

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce a 40mph speed restriction on both sides of Chaffron Way (H7) in Milton Keynes.

The current speed restriction on that part of Chaffron Way (H7) is national speed. 

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-438. 

The closing date for this consultation is 10 July 2025.
