Milton Keynes City Council intends to make the following named traffic regulation Order under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE UNNAMMED ROAD PARALLEL TO A421 STANDING WAY) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2026 

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to amend the existing prohibition of motor vehicles restriction on the unnamed road that runs parallel to A421 Standing Way, between Whaddon Road and B4034 Buckingham Road to enable a new access road for the ‘Salden Place’ development.

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-470. 

The closing date for this consultation is 8 January 2026.
