Revised consultation dates
On Friday 7 November 2025, Milton Keynes City Council launched the Regulation 19 Consultation to gather feedback on the final draft of the MK City Plan 2050. The consultation originally closed on 22 December 2025 at 5:30pm. However, due to a technical issue, some people did not receive the notification email at the start of the consultation. To ensure everyone has a fair chance to take part, we are reopening the consultation for another six weeks. This additional consultation begins today and will run from 5 January to 16 February 2026, closing at 5:30pm.
We are consulting on the final proposed submission Milton Keynes City Plan 2050 document. This will be the new development plan for Milton Keynes, guiding the growth and development of the city until 2050.
This is a formal phase of engagement where we are seeking feedback about the soundness legal compliance of the plan. We welcome your comments on these two aspects of the plan preparation process.
