About: Alina Orchestra has created a very special concert to honour the coronation of HRH King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort. The orchestra is joined by Polymnia Chamber Choir and soprano, Jessica Wise, as we perform favourites such as Zadok the Priest, The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Handel’s Water Music and works by Elgar, Walton and Mozart in an event which is packed full of celebration for the local community for this historic occasion.

Event: Coronation Celebrations with Fusion Lunch
Time: 10.30-14.30
Location: Milton Keynes Village Hall
About: This is an event organized by the MILTON KEYNES VIHARA based in Willen. Most ethnic/religious community groups in Milton Keynes have been invited to send a representative group of 10-12 people. In addition about 20-25 elderly residents are also being invited, including particularly those living alone. The live broadcast of the coronation will be shown on a large indoor screen. The event will end with a special Buddhist chanting ceremony to bless the King and the Queen.

About: This event is for vulnerable Ukrainian refugees, their families, sponsors and growing Ukrainian diaspora in Milton Keynes City and surrounding areas. The event will be presented in both English and Ukrainian languages. The King Coronation event would be the first celebration of this kind to Ukrainian refugees, and we would like to make sure that they have experienced the best of British spirit through our Coronation Family Fun Day.
