While led by Milton Keynes City Council, alongside partners from the arts, business, voluntary and community sectors, this bid belongs to the whole city, powered by the people who live, work and create here.

The real impact lasts far longer. Other previous cities of culture have shown just how powerful it can be, growing creatively, socially and economically for years to come.
