Milton Keynes City Council provides a service where members of the public can apply to have a commemorative bench installed in an agreed location on land managed by the council - this service cannot be used to install a bench onto Highway land.

There are different cost options depending on the type of installation required.

Costs

• seat onto existing base - this option can be used where there is an existing concrete base, perhaps where a seat may have been before
  
  £600 including VAT
• seat with pad foundations - installed into a grass area with two concrete block foundations
  
  £700 including VAT
• seat on a concrete base (2m x 1m) - installed onto a grass area, the concrete base helps to prevent wearing of the grass under the seat
  
  £1,200 including VAT
• seat on a long concrete base (3m x 1m) - designed to allow room for a buggy or wheelchair
  
  £1,400 including VAT
