English conversation sessions are for anyone who would like to practise and improve their English as a second language, gain better skills for study or employment, or just get on in everyday life.

Everyone is welcome to join us on the day and you don't need to register. If you'd like to know more you can phone 01908 254050 or speak to library staff.

Please note that the sessions are led by library volunteers and are not part of any ESOL curriculum.

Everyone is welcome to attend these free drop-in sessions at Olney Library. The sessions are supported by Folio (Friends of the Library in Olney) volunteers and are held every Thursday, when we put out a selection of toys and books for you to enjoy with your children.

No booking is necessary and there is no charge, although voluntary donations are appreciated.

Parents and carers are responsible for safe play and must remain with their child throughout the session.

Drop-in community based support sessions

Available to anyone looking for work - computer and internet access, independent job search facilities as well as support from advisors.

The Community Employment Services team provide weekly drop-in Job Club sessions at Central Library - on the ground floor by the tables on Tuesdays between 1 and 3pm.
