For the latest information on how your local contraception and sexual health service is adapting to the coronavirus outbreak please visit the iCaSH website.
iCaSH Milton Keynes is still operating throughout the coronavirus outbreak and can often provide support without seeing anyone face-to-face. To reduce the risk of coronavirus infection, sit and wait clinics have been suspended and face-to-face appointments are being prioritised based on clinical need. Residents are asked to remember to “phone up before you turn up” to a clinic on 0300 300 3030.
iCaSH Milton Keynes provides help and support for all aspects of sexual and reproductive health including contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and HIV testing and treatment.
Emergency hormonal contraception (EHC)
Emergency Hormonal Contraception, or EHC, is sometimes referred to as the ’morning after pill’ or the '72 hour pill'. It can be taken up to 72 hours or 3 days after having unprotected sex or if another contraceptive method fails.
Even if it has been more than 72 hours since you had sex it is worth contacting your local sexual health clinic or GP as soon as possible for more help and advice.
There is access to free EHC from a number of pharmacies across Milton Keynes. Call iCaSH on 0300 300 3030 for more information and for which pharmacies provide these services.
