The NHS Health Check is a preventive public health programme aimed at identifying early signs of cardiovascular disease, available to adults aged 40–74. 

If your workplace is in Bedford Borough or Central Bedfordshire, Public Health are offering FREE NHS Health Checks for employees aged 40-74 who live in or are registered with a doctor's surgery within Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire or Milton Keynes.​

What does it involve and why is this important for your business and employees?​

❤️ Early identification of cardiovascular disease risk can help improve workforce health, reduce sickness absence and support long-term employee wellbeing​

📈 Measuring cholesterol, blood pressure, pulse, weight, BMI and other key health indicators and provide an opportunity to access healthy lifestyle guidance​

👥 Health Checks are 30 minutes. We welcome your support in offering staff the opportunity to access this during working hours​
