Service changes from 1 June 2025 (all changes subject to formal approval)

Service 5 Arriva

No longer serves Newton Leys - provision to Newton Leys has been replaced by new services X2 and X3. Daytime frequency of services to/from Newton Leys is reduced from 20 mins to 30 mins (and hourly on the loop via Elba Gate).

Aside from one weekday evening peak journey towards Bletchley/Lakes, which has been replaced by a service 6 bus, there are no other route or frequency changes, only some minor timetable changes to maintain the 10 minute headway on the combined 5/6 service between CMK and Lakes.

Service 4/4A Arriva

Service 4a half hourly Shenley Church End – CMK – Hospital – Bletchley is being withdrawn. Replaced by a half hourly daily short service CMK – Hospital – Bletchley, operating as service 4. The half-hourly through Wolverton-CMK-Bletchley service is maintained. Selected journeys on schooldays operate via Shenley Church End, for school children who attend Denbigh School. There are also some minor timing changes.

Service 6 Arriva

Minor timetable changes. No change in frequency – other than an additional weekday evening peak journey towards Bletchley /Lakes. Some afternoon peak journeys extended to serve the Windermere Drive loop, otherwise no route changes.

Service 7 Arriva

There is no change to the Mon-Sat service. Timing changes to Sun/PH pm services, and Sun/PH evening services now start/terminate at Bradville, Marlborough Roundabout (except the last service from CMK).

Service M6 Arriva

Short journeys between CMK and Bletchley / Fenny Lock withdrawn. There are no changes to the two daily through journeys to/from Magna Park.

Service X4 Arriva

The service will no longer serve Bletchley Bus Station. Instead, it will operate from Stadium:mk to the A5 via Saxon Street and Watling Street, serving Fenny Stratford. The last through journey to Aylesbury departs CMK earlier on weekdays. There is no longer a direct morning service on schooldays from CMK to Henry Floyd School, journeys now require a change in Leighton Buzzard or in Bucks. The direct return journey has been retained. Minor timing changes. Route change in Leighton Buzzard.

NEW! Service X2 and X3

Both services cover Newton Leys, instead of service 5. The X2 operates hourly via the route currently used by service 5 in Newton Leys, but in both directions rather than as a loop. The X3 operates via St Helena Avenue, giving that part of Newton Leys a 30 minute frequency. Services now operate between Water Eaton and Newton Leys via Drayton Road, in both directions. Both services serve Bletchley Bus Station. All outbound services continue to Luton Airport.

Service F70/F77

This service is being withdrawn. Services to Luton and Dunstable via Leighton Buzzard will be replaced by new services X2 and X3.
