Services in Milton Keynes are fully commercially delivered by operators, with the following exceptions: 33/X33 contracted by MKCC with support from West Northamptonshire Council. Services 21, 34 and 134 are partially contracted by MKCC.
Upcoming service changes
Services will no longer serve Coachway (still served by Uno services C2, C3 and Stagecoach service X5). 3A variation has been restored. The 3S variation remains.

Timing changes to improve reliability
Route revised between Bletchley and the Hospital, will operate via Bletcham Way and Bond Avenue, rather than via Stadium MK and Groveway. Services will continue to run up to every 20 minutes on Monday to Friday, and up to every 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
Saxon Street and Stadium MK will continue be served by services 6, 6A, X1, X2, X3, X14 and Loop.
New service 6A will serve Fairfields up to every hour on Monday to Saturday, replacing service X6. The route of service 6 remains unchanged. Some minor timing changes.
Significant route change between CMK and Great Linford. Buses will run will run Point – Station – Bradwell Common – Conniburrow – Downs Barn (via Marlborough Street V9 and Dansteed Way H4) – Neath Hill.
Change of route and timetable. From Central Milton Keynes it will run along Saxon Street past Stadium MK and then serving Bletchley Bus Station before continuing to Buckingham. Stony Stratford will no longer be served by X6, but continues to be served by service 6 and 6A. Customers travelling between Fairfields and Milton Keynes should use service 6A.
Changes to the timetable to improve reliability. A small number of very lightly used journeys are withdrawn
Timing changes - there is an additional early morning journey from Leighton Buzzard to MK.
Bletchley Bus Station will no longer be served, services will instead operate via Fenny Stratford. In Newton Leye, only stops on St Helena Avenue will be served. Daytime short journeys between Newton Leys and Central Milton Keynes will be withdrawn. Service X2 will continue to serve St Helena Avenue hourly offering quick links to Central Milton Keynes. Service will be extended to and from Milton Keynes Rail Station.
Due to low usage service X15 will no longer operate. Service X14 will be extended to and from Milton Keynes Rail Station.
Additional return AM trip from Northampton to Milton Keynes
Significant route change – will now run CMK – Newport Pagnell – North Crawley – Cranfield – Bedford. Tickford End now has a Saturday and Sunday service. Areas previously served by this service will be served by the new services C2 and/or C3.
Monday to Saturday service, CMK – Coachway (via Childs Way) – Moulsoe - Cranfield – Bedford service. Reduced service in Moulsoe, no longer served on Sundays. Does not serve Monkston, Kingston, Brooklands – Arriva services 3 and 8 remain in those areas.
New daily service, excluding public holidays, running Station-CMK-Monkston-Kingston-Eagle Farm-Magna Park- Cranfield.

Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) is available to bus users that don't have access to the weekday daytime routes.
DRT is not restricted to previous timetables or routes, and picks up passengers from their chosen destination to their required drop off point when they want to travel.
MK Connect works like a minibus that comes when you want, where you want — book a ride straight from your phone, get picked up in minutes, and be dropped within a short walk of your destination.
Passengers with a wheelchair or disability will always be matched with a fully accessible vehicle and the service is accessible to passengers with vision, hearing and other requirements.
