MK Move All in 1 MK smart Card (Junior Concessionary Travel Scheme)
All you need to know about All in 1 MK smart Card (Junior Concessionary Travel Scheme) and how to apply for it.
MK Move All in 1 smart card is:
- A travel concessionary card
To qualify for the scheme, you must be:
- Aged between 5 and 18 years
- A permanent resident of Milton Keynes or attending school/college/training establishment in Milton Keynes
- In full or part time education
You can apply by:
MK Move All in 1 smart card (card that can be read by ticket machines and used for paying bus fares and other transport costs electronically, instead of by cash or by debit card) are set to be launched from Sunday, 1st June 2025. Current non-smart MK All in 1 card will continue to be valid, but will be phased out over the remainder of 2025, and shall no longer be valid or accepted on public transport from 1st January 2026.

For young people aged 16 or above who are not in education or employment then your form can be certified by the 16-19 team (part of Community Learning MK); please email them on Youth@milton-keynes.gov.uk
The MK Move All in 1 smart card will be sent to you within 10 working days of receipt of your application.
If you are younger than 12 when you apply, your card will expire when you are 12. You can apply for a replacement up to two weeks before you are 12. This card will expire the day before you turn 19.
Milton Keynes Council will not refund bus fares incurred while applications for new or replacement passes are being processed.
MK Move All in 1 smart card holders can travel within the borough of Milton Keynes on any bus, except for Stagecoach Midlands services 83, X6, and X91 and some infrequent services.
The following discounted ticket options are available
- Single fares: £1.20
- Weekly pass: £11
- Four weekly pass: £36
- MK Connect accepts only singles fares.
You will need to scan your pre-loaded MK Move All in 1 smart card (PAYG purse or period pass) to receive the discounted travel.
You can also travel on MK Connect services, for a fare of £1.20 per trip paid using the MK Connect App at the time of the booking – no requirement to scan your smart card upon boarding the MK Connect vehicle. Please note that weekly, and 4-weekly tickets are not valid on these MK Connect services.
