MK Move All in 1 MK smart Card (Junior Concessionary Travel Scheme)

All you need to know about All in 1 MK smart Card (Junior Concessionary Travel Scheme) and how to apply for it.

MK Move All in 1 smart card is:

  • A travel concessionary card

To qualify for the scheme, you must be:

  • Aged between 5 and 18 years
  • A permanent resident of Milton Keynes or attending school/college/training establishment in Milton Keynes
  • In full or part time education

You can use the MK Move All in 1 card to pay for buses and other travel without using cash or your bank card. If you have an old card from before June 2025, you can still use it this year, but it will stop working on 1 January 2026.

Milton Keynes City Council has stopped taking part in the PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme). That means the All in 1 card is no longer official proof of age. It’s now just a discounted travel card, with a £3 fee to apply, this fee applies to new customers and also to anyone who didn’t have to pay before.

MK Move - Milton Keynes

For young people aged 16 or above who are not in education or employment then your form can be certified by the 16-19 team (part of Community Learning MK); please email them on Youth@milton-keynes.gov.uk

The MK Move All in 1 smart card will be sent to you within 10 working days of receipt of your application.

If you're under 12 when you apply, your card will stay valid until your 12th birthday. You can request a new one up to two weeks before turning 12. All cards will expire the day before you turn 19.

Milton Keynes City Council will not refund bus fares incurred while applications for new or replacement passes are being processed.

MK Move All in 1 smart card holders can travel within Milton Keynes on any bus, except for Stagecoach Midlands services 83, X6, and X91 and some infrequent services.

The following discounted ticket options are available

  • Single fares: £1.20
  • Weekly pass: £11
  • Four weekly pass: £36
  • MK Connect accepts only singles fares.

You will need to scan your pre-loaded MK Move All in 1 smart card (PAYG purse or period pass) to receive the discounted travel.

You can also travel on MK Connect services, for a fare of £1.20 per trip paid using the MK Connect App at the time of the booking – no requirement to scan your smart card upon boarding the MK Connect vehicle. Please note that weekly, and 4-weekly tickets are not valid on these MK Connect services.
