Housing register applicants have the right to ask for a review of certain decisions that Milton Keynes City Council has made about their application for housing or an offer of accommodation. This includes a review of:  

• Decisions about rejecting or closing an application to join the Housing Register due to being ineligible or non qualifying.
• The banding decision.
• How your application was assessed, and the information taken into consideration when deciding the type of property for which your application will be considered, your medical and welfare needs and your household to be rehoused with you.
• Suitability of Accommodation review if you have received a final offer of accommodation to end your housing duty owed.

Reviews are dealt with by Senior Allocations Officers as they are independent and will not have been involved in the customer’s case. A written response will be provided to you within 56 days.'
