Male night shelter

Milton Keynes City Council has opened purpose-built night accommodation above the former bus station at Station Square offering somewhere safe to stay for those who need overnight crisis accommodation. The facility operates 7-days a week and accommodates up to 19 people at a time who find themselves with nowhere to go that night. The service will have access to showers and washing facilities, with staff based onsite to provide essential support. An evening service will also operate to offer food and support prior to an overnight stay, offering a warm and supportive environment. The accommodation will be available to those who are over 18-years of age, and will be available to males or those who identify as male, or are transitioning into being male, who need it.

Opening Times

Night access from 5pm to 9am, 7 days per week.

Eligibility

A person, male (or those who identify as male) who have been seen rough sleeping by outreach workers.

Referrals

If you are rough sleeping, you can access the service by contacting the rough sleeper team on the number below before 5pm.

Should anyone wish to refer a rough sleeping resident to the provision for night accommodation they can do so using the contact information below.

Alternatively, any referrals received via Streetlink (www.streetlink.org.uk) notifying us of a rough sleeping resident will be visited by our Outreach team and then offered accommodation within the provision.
