The COIN database provides local community information and lists both local and national organisations and groups.

What is COIN?

• The COmmunity INformation database (COIN) is your one-stop shop for information on societies, organisations and clubs that serve the Milton Keynes area.
• It can be used to search for local services covering a wide range of subjects from health and wellbeing to leisure activities and social groups.
• COIN is available 24 hours a day online.

Searching on COIN

Search the COIN database

• On the COIN search page, simply type in the word or phrase that interests you and click the “Apply” button.
• Results are listed in alphabetical order.
• Click on any of the page numbers at the bottom of the screen to browse.
• Click on the group name to be taken to more information about the group or service.
• Click on the 'Website' link to be taken to the group’s own online information.

Please note that the council is not responsible for any information contained on external websites.

Can’t find something on COIN?

COIN is a constantly changing resource and entries continue to be added and updated. With each change, we aim to create a central point of reference for the Milton Keynes community.

• We do not maintain private contact details for listed groups and any new entries submitted for inclusion in the COIN database can only be accepted with at least one valid online link which signposts visitors to up-to-date information.
• To suggest a group or organisation for adding to COIN please complete the online form.
• If your suggestion is accepted and the information validated, the entry will be added to COIN. 
• Please note that entries are accepted at the discretion of the Milton Keynes City Council libraries.
