Everyone is welcome at the Milton Keynes Blue Light and Community Fun Day on Thursday 30 July, from 11am to 2pm, at Conniburrow Community Field, Conniburrow Boulevard, MK14 7DX.
Organised by Milton Keynes City Council in partnership with Great Linford Parish Council and local emergency services, the free event will give people the chance to learn more about the organisations that work to keep communities safe.
Visitors will be able to meet local emergency service teams, including Thames Valley Police, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue, to find out how they respond to incidents and support residents, pick up useful safety advice, and see police horses up close. There will also be a range of information stalls from city council services and local organisations, including SUEZ, The Parks Trust, Dott, Crimestoppers, and other community partners.
Residents will also have the opportunity to take part in defibrillator awareness sessions led by the South Central Ambulance Service. These interactive sessions will provide practical guidance on how to respond confidently in an emergency and help attendees develop potentially lifesaving skills.

Parking at the event venue is limited. In addition to on-street parking in Conniburrow, alternative parking is available near Central Milton Keynes Library (parking charges apply). From there, the event can be reached via a short walk across the pedestrian overbridge into Conniburrow and along Conniburrow Boulevard.
Please note that anyone wishing to try a Dott e-scooter on the safe riding obstacle course must be aged 18 or over and bring a provisional or full driving licence on the day.
