Kilkenny House Milton Keynes Supported Housing for Older People (with on site care)

Kilkenny House is a purpose built Supported Housing for Older People with Care Scheme with an onsite Domiciliary Care Team. The service aims to promote quality of life and to help maintain independence, enabling service users to continue living in their own home within the scheme, whilst receiving the personal care and support that they need. 

Accommodation

Kilkenny House covers three floors, with 40 purpose built self-contained flats, 31 of which are single occupancy and 9 are suitable for couples. All flats are fitted with emergency pull cords which connect directly to the onsite care team.  Tenants are also provided with a personal alarm pendant which they can use to summon help.

Eligibility

Eligibility is subject to Milton Keynes Council Housing Allocation Policy.  Service users will need to be aged 60 years or over and also have an agreed social care need which has been assessed by Adult Social Care.
