Meetings and Decision Making

Anyone can attend meetings of the Full Council (all 60 Councillors), Cabinet and the other committees of the Council.

Members of the public are more than welcome to attend meetings of Milton Keynes City Council.

To view agendas, reports and minutes of meetings held by Milton Keynes City Council, check the dates of meetings or find out more about who you can get involved in the Council's decision making processes, please click the relevant links below:

Meetings are normally held in the evenings (please check the agenda of the individual committee for the start time) and are held in the Civic Offices, Central Milton Keynes. Meetings are periodically updated so if you plan to come along check the calendar of meetings first or email democracy@milton-keynes.gov.uk.

To attend any of these meetings please plan to arrive about 15 minutes beforehand and report to the Ground Floor Reception at Civic Offices (for evening meetings you will be asked to sign in – this is for fire regulation purposes only incase of evacuation). Reception will give you directions to the relevant room. A limited number of agendas are available at each meeting and we recommend if you need a paper copy that you print off your own copy from our website. The following link should take you to the home page of our Committee Meeting Information System:

You can find out about the various committees and individuals who represent you on your local council and find out who sits on which committees, any decisions or declarations they have made, examine agendas and minutes of any meeting and find out how to contact any member of your local council on Modern.Gov

Please note that some meetings, for example Sub-Committee meetings of the Licensing Committee and Regulatory Committee may be cancelled at short notice if there is no-longer business to conduct and that a small number of meetings  are not open to the public to attend.
