Following the resignation of Councillor Scott Game on 24 February 2026, a valid request for a by-election for the Wavendon Gate ward of Walton Community Council has been received.
The by-election will take place on Thursday 16 April 2026.

Polling Station
The polling station for this by-election will be: Wavendon Gate Pavilion, Isaacson Drive, Wavendon Gate, MK7 7RZ.
The polling station will be open from 7am to 10pm.
You will be required to show photographic identification to vote at this election. Further information on Voter ID can be found here.
Registration
The deadline to register to vote in this election is midnight on Friday 27 March 2026. If you have already registered to vote, you will be sent a poll card from Friday 27 March. If you are unsure if you are registered to vote you can call Milton Keynes City Council on 01908 254706 to check. You have to be a registered voter in Wavendon Gate ward to be eligible to vote in this election.
