Who we work with

We support adults aged 18 and over who have a learning disability and a registered GP in Milton Keynes with a specific health need (not social care need). 
We also consider referrals from age 17 ½.  This helps us see if we are the right service for you when you turn 18, especially if you are moving from Children’s to Adult services.

Who we do not work with

We do not accept referrals for:

• Adults with specific learning difficulties only (like dyslexia/ dyspraxia or ADHD)
• Autistic adults who do not have a learning disability
• Adults with an acquired brain injury or memory changes that have happened after age 18

How to contact us to make a referral:

Anyone can refer into us. Referrals can be made directly by yourself or with your consent by a support worker, friend, health or social care professional, or family member. To discuss a referral for either you or a family member please contact CTALD Duty on 01908 252002. Alternatively you can email us at: LDDuty@milton-keynes.gov.uk. 

We are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Monday to Thursday and 9:00am to 4:30pm on Friday.
