MK Council is making it easier for people to switch to electric vehicles by increasing the number of residential electric vehicle charging hubs. The Council is working closely with BP Pulse to secure grant funding from central government to deliver charging solutions for residents with no access to charging at home (i.e. driveway). The initiative will be fully funded with 60% funded by OZEV and 40% funded by BP Pulse.

We have identified 19 car parks within residential areas with limited off street parking and the proposals are to install eight charging points in each car park that will charge a typical electric vehicle from empty to full in eight hours.
Please view maps  of the proposed  locations on our MKC Consultation pages and use the link https://forms.office.com/r/K06n7G7U23 to complete the survey.

The survey gives residents the option to share their thoughts on the proposed locations and tell us about their priorities.

Your local ward and parish councils are also being asked to provide feedback on the proposed locations so please contact your local members if you would prefer to share your feedback through them.
We look forward to receiving your feedback.
