From 21 October to 2 December 2026, we are asking local people and organisations for their views on the new Minerals and Waste Local Plan, what they think it should contain and how we should engage with them as we prepare the plan.

The plan will guide how minerals and waste development is managed in Milton Keynes and will replace the existing minerals and waste plans. We are also inviting potential sites for minerals and waste uses and seeking views on how we assess the plan’s environmental effects.
