Operators

A Private Hire Operator Licence is issued to an individual or company that offers a service of pre-booking fares. The licence is issued for a period of 1 or 5 years.

In order to apply for a licence or to renew your current licence, you will need to download the Operator Licence Application Form and email this along with supporting documents to taxi@milton-keynes.gov.uk.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted and will be rejected.

Planning Permission

It is the responsibility of a Private Hire Operator to ensure that appropriate planning permission exists for the operational address to be used for their business purposes.

By submitting an application, applicants confirm that they understand that their operating address may need planning permission or a lawful development certificate, and are responsible for obtaining this.
