Information about the housing allocations scheme

Lettings by area April 2022 – March 2023

We have made available a breakdown of lettings by area across both housing associations properties and Milton Keynes City Council.

This helps to give an idea to those that prefer certain areas, of the average amount of lettings. We do take preferences into consideration but due to the limitations of the number of properties available, we cannot guarantee and offer of accommodation in a preferred area.

Where am I on the waiting list?

Unfortunately, we cannot give an exact number as to where your application is on the housing register. There may be people ahead of you in date but that are awaiting a property with adaptations or a need for ground floor.

We allocate in banding priority and then date order. This means that we would look at Band A priority first and there could always be a new application that goes into a higher banding, changing the position of those in band B and C.

We will advise on average wait times, but these are an estimate as we are reliant on properties becoming available to allow us to allocate to those waiting on the housing register.

As soon as you are the next applicant for an offer of accommodation, we will be in contact to discuss this with you.
