What is the Planning Archive?

If you cannot find documents for applications you wish to view on our planning register, you can order them through the planning department. Or make a request to access them.

How long will it take to receive the documents?

• For applications submitted after 2005:
  We aim to provide the requested documents within 5 working days.
• For applications submitted before 2005:
  We aim to provide the documents within 10 working days.
  This longer turnaround time is due to these older records being stored in an external warehouse. We need to retrieve them, scan them, and then send them to you.

What does it cost?

For 2025, archive documents are free. 

From 2026, a fee will apply for documents related to applications submitted before 2005.
