- To accept the offer - Once you receive an offer, you must contact the school within 10 school days to confirm acceptance of the place.
If you are unhappy with the offer
If you application is not successful and you still want your child to attend that preferred school.
It is important to note that the local authority, ward councillors and your local MPs do not have the authority to change the outcome of the application.

You can join the waiting list of your declined preference schools
If you’d like your child to be added to the waiting list for a higher preference school(s), please email: primaryadmissions@milton-keynes.gov.uk
Include your child’s:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Home address
- Name(s) of the school(s)

You can appeal the decline of a place at any of your preference schools
Only an independent appeal panel has the legal power to overturnt he decline decision. The panel will consider both your child's individual circumstances as well as the impact that offering a place may have on the school.
If you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at any of your preference schools:

For other schools listed here, you will need to need to contact the schools directly if you wish to lodge an appeal: include school lists – primary and then secondary

As a parent, you are legally responsible for ensuring your child receives a full-time education. If your child is unplaced and you decline the offer without telling us how your child will be educated, we are required to notify the Senior School Attendance Officer. In such cases, legal action may be taken.
