Change to Permit Application Process Please note that we are no longer using the EasiPermit online application process to apply for parking permits. Apply, renew and manage your parking permits online

Please allow 5 working days for your application to be processed.

You must register for an account to apply for a parking permit . All permits are virtual (i.e. not a paper permit) you will not receive a paper permit in the post to display in your window. For phone enquiries please call 01604 625608 Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

You must register for an account  before you apply for a parking permit. Once you have created an account and applied for your permit you will be sent a confirmation email that the application is being reviewed. Once it has been checked and everything is in order, you will be contacted and offered the permit. If you still wish to purchase the permit you will be advised to log in to your account to make payment.

Please note that if you have more than one vehicle on your permit you must log in to your account to select the vehicle you are parking.

Visitor permits will no longer be paper permits and you will need to change the vehicle registration on your account when your visitors arrive. You can do this by logging in to your account and selecting your current permit and inputting the vehicle details.

Failure to purchase a valid permit when parked in a permit zone may result in the issue of a Penalty Charge Notice.

Our Civil Enforcement Officers will check your registration number against the  database to confirm you have a valid parking permit.  You will be advised of the application reference number by email.

Part Time Employee Permit

The permit will cover two parking sessions.  AM session covers 07:00am to 14:00pm; PM session covers 11:00am to 18:00pm

If you need to action a change of vehicle on your permit please log in to your account to request the change.

Carers Parking Permits

Please note a Carers Parking Permit is only available to a person who is employed either by a public service body or an officially registered company employing carers who are required to make house calls as a part of their normal duty (One permit per employee).

Please provide written confirmation of employment from a public service body or officially registered company for your initial permit and any renewals.

A Carers Parking Permit can be used in any council owned residents parking places, signed as such.  A valid permit will entitle you to park without displaying a Residents Parking Permit. Paper Permits must be displayed clearly in the windscreen of your vehicle.

The permit is only valid when the carer is making a house call to a resident in accordance with that specified above.  The parking period must not be any longer than the duration of the house call.
