A street party or local event is a non-commercial event organised by residents for residents and neighbours only. These are only permitted to take place on residential streets and not through roads so they do not affect the wider road network.

Before carrying out any work on the highway, a Statutory Utility must apply for a permit and have approval from the Streetworks team.
