Works will start on Queensway, Bletchley from Monday 27 October 2025.
The construction phase is being project managed by the Council's Highways team.
The aim of the project is to:

To improve the public realm area

Tackle issues with footway parking

Provide designated disabled parking bays

Improve road safety
-
New drainage system
-
New street furniture
The work will take place in phases starting with Elizabeth Square. During this time the car park between Cambridge Street and Lennox Road will be closed to all vehicles.
The work is funded by the New Town Deal fund for Bletchley and Fenny Stratford. You can find out more about this fund and the plans here
