Blue Badge parking in Milton Keynes

Parking in Central Milton Keynes

In Central Milton Keynes, disabled drivers may park free of charge in council pay and display bays or reserved disabled bays for an unlimited period of time as long as a valid Blue Badge is clearly displayed.

Please see our Central Milton Keynes Parking Guide for locations of the disabled bays (denoted by yellow).

The badge should be left face up so that the Civil Enforcement Officer can see :

  • the serial number
  • the issuing authority
  • the expiry date

Your photograph should be kept hidden.

Disabled drivers may also park in time restricted bays for an unlimited period of time, and on double yellow lines for up to 3 hours (you must set the clock on your badge to show the time you arrived).

Misuse of Blue Badges

Milton Keynes Council enforces proper use of Blue Badges. If a badge is found to be being misused it can, in certain circumstances, be withdrawn and the individual can be fined. The following examples are considered as misuse of a Blue Badge:

  • use of a badge that is no longer valid
  • use of a valid badge by a person who is not the named badge holder, with or without the badge holder’s knowledge or permission
  • use of a badge that has been reported lost or stolen

If you know that a badge is being misused, please contact the Blue Badge Team
