Subject to final review, the Carbon Offset Fund is currently closed for new applications 

The carbon offset fund (COF) can provide up to 50% match funding to support works for community groups and public organisations that provide long term carbon emissions reductions in Milton Keynes (MK).

Eligibility

The COF is open to:

• MK community groups and community organisations
• public organisations including schools
• MK Council, parish and town councils
• MK charities and not for profit organisations
• bulk domestic schemes active within the borough

Projects might include;

• solar PV panels,
• low energy lighting,
• upgrades to windows and doors,
• insulation e.g. roof, cavity, floor
• replacement of gas/oil/LPG heating system with heat pumps

Please note carbon capture or offsetting are not eligible, neither are energy storage projects. Only carbon saving projects will be offered funding.
