Waste and Recycling

As part of making Milton Keynes cleaner, greener and safer, MK council collects waste and recycling weekly from residents, runs 3 household waste recycling centres and offers a bulky waste collection service. We also keep the streets clean, provide a ‘green’ education programme for our local schools and offer advice on litter picking, home composting and nappies.  MK is also home to the UK's first purpose-built Recycling Facility.
We're asking residents to take part in our online quarterly customer satisfaction survey. Help us shape future improvements to our waste and recycling and street cleansing services along with the maintenance and upkeep of our parks, open spaces and play areas. Here's the link to the survey, we encourage as many residents to complete the survey before Tues 29 June.
