By becoming a member of the MKCC libraries and signing your library card you agree to:
- be responsible for all items borrowed using your card
- pay for any loss, damage or other charges incurred
even if the card is lost or stolen (up to the point that you report the loss or theft to the library).

You are asked to read and agree to the following statement before signing your new library card.
By signing this card, I agree to be responsible for all items borrowed using this card or any for which I am guarantor.
I will pay for any loss, damage or other charges incurred. This applies even if the card is lost or stolen, until the loss or theft is reported to Milton Keynes Libraries.
Guarantors
As a guarantor for a child/young person under 16 years old, I understand that the young person will have access to the IT facilities with their library card and that I am responsible for monitoring material they access on the Internet.
Data Protection Statement
When you join the library, we only collect information needed to enable you to manage your library account and use our services.
All personal data is held strictly in accordance with the requirements of current Data Protection legislation.

Points to remember
- You will need to have your library card with you for any transaction.
- Your library card should only be used by you. It is not transferable.
- Please remember to tell your local library if any of your personal details change, for example, your address, telephone number or email address.
- You don't have to be a library member to visit us or use the reference and information service.
