Background
We held a major conference entitled ‘A Changing Place – Planning for Growth and Diversity in MK’ on 1st March 2023 as part of our ongoing conversation about how we deliver the vision for growth that is set out in the Strategy for 2050. The conference was attended by over 120 delegates who listened to several expert speakers who addressed a range of topics including diversity and inclusion in the context of the Census 2021 results, affordable housing, healthy places, housing and infrastructure delivery, cultural infrastructure, decarbonising transport, and achieving good growth that is sustainable.
