Marriage, Civil Partnerships and Other Ceremonies
Coronavirus update - 23 September 2020
Marriage and civil partnership ceremonies - we aim to start taking new bookings on 7 September for ceremonies to take place later in the year onwards.
Statutory marriages and civil partnerships - Statutory marriage ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies are now able to proceed where the couple and their two witnesses only are in attendance.
Flowers Suite ceremonies - these are currently on hold until 2021 but new bookings can be made for 2021 onwards from 7 September.
Venue ceremonies - ceremonies at approved venues are able to go ahead provided the latest government advice is followed. From 28 September the number of people who can attend a ceremony is limited to 15. Speak to your venue about what this means for your ceremony and see our Venue Ceremony Process (PDF, 135KB) which is in place during the ongoing Covid19 pandemic.
