This project, which began in September 2025, involves creating a safe path for cyclists and pedestrians, resurfacing roads, and installing traffic calming measures like a new raised table and speed humps. The works are expected to last approximately 10 weeks, with some temporary traffic management in place.
The new redway section will provide a safe route for cyclists and pedestrians between Fairfields and Stony Stratford. The link will go through Tudor Gardens and Calverton End, connecting with the existing redway network.
A public consultation took place in January-February 2024. You can view the results report here.
