Local Cycling and Walking Implementation Plan (LCWIP)
During 2023, we carried out a large public consultation on proposals for several schemes to improve connectivity across the borough for walking, cycling and other wheeled transport.
The proposals aim to fix any gaps in the redway network or adding new sections to provide extra capacity or new routes.

Mobility Strategy 2018-2036
The Milton Keynes Mobility Strategy 2018-2036 was adopted in March 2018. The Action Plan was developed and adopted by the Council in October 2018. The Action Plan explains the next steps being undertaken to implement the strategy. An updated suite of supporting plans and position papers are being prepared to guide delivery of the strategy. The Transport Infrastructure Delivery Plan (TIDP) is one plan and provides a framework for the development and delivery of transport infrastructure required for Milton Keynes over the next 15 years.
